In 2024, a youngster on TikTok reviewed Every Beautiful Mile, calling the main characters hags because they were in their forties. This title stuck, and Ashley has proudly built on career on writing love stories about old girls. While her writing is technically considered women’s fiction, with lots of emotions and a healthy dose of spice, it tap dances the line with romance as she firmly believes every story should have a happy ending.

When she isn’t writing, her days are somewhere between totally crazy and blissfully happy at her home in North Carolina with her husband, children, and reheated coffee. Her favorite place is on a hiking a trail beneath tall trees.
