Book Club Qs
Friends don't let friends read books alone.

Below are discussion questions for each of my books for you to use in conjuncture with good food, drink, and company. These questions may hint at spoilers, so please don't read them until you have finished reading. Thanks so much for reading and for choosing one of my books for your book club! xo
Every Beautiful Mile
1. Nel was, for lack of a better word, awkward, especially when it came to Ethan and reentering the dating world. What ways did you see yourself in or relate to Nel? In what ways did she respond to her circumstances differently than you would have?
2. Nel, Finn, and Marin based the destinations of their summer road trip on Travis' plans. If you were taking a trip to honor your partner, what stops would you include?
3. Nel tells Ethan he helped bring her back to life. In can be argued that wouldn't have been possible without everything that occurred in the months leading up to their meeting. What were other critical moments of their summer together?
When Wildflowers Bloom
1. Women with the BRCA mutation have a much higher chance of getting breast cancer (among other cancers) compared to the rest of the population. Knowing this, would you want to know if you carried the gene? What would you do with the information?
2. Do you think Birdie did the right thing by keeping Veda’s secret from Bo? Why/why not?
3. Bo gets a lot of the credit for showing up for Birdie and pushing her from her comfort zone into living more fully, but he wasn’t alone. What ways did the other characters help with Birdie’s journey? Who do you think (aside from Bo) had the most influence?
Forever and Back
1. Some people have called June's behaviors infuriating while others describe her as completely relatable. Where do you fall on that spectrum? What decisions/actions/thoughts of hers stood out as more or less infuriating/relatable?
2. Miscommunication was at the core of June and Cam's problems. Camp was waiting for June to talk to him while June expected him just to know what was on her mind. How accurate was this portrayal of marriage? Out of all the things they didn't talk about, which one do you think was the most critical?
3. June let some people have a heavy influence over her thoughts and actions (podcasts, the moms, Lyra, Ms. Wilson) while tuning out the opinions of those closest to her (Mave, Scotty). Not unlike many of us, she found it easier to listen to strangers rather than those who know her best. Why do you think June let this happen?
